Best practices in design

3DRPD offers digital design services based on .stl
or .dcm files submitted by our customers.
Customers who prefer to execute their own designs must comply with our manufacturing requirements in order to receive the best results.

  • Make sure that no area of your piece has a thickness of less than 0.7 mm. Use the verification tools within your design software (CAD) to make sure you’re on target.
  •

  • Make sure to overlap the patterns one over the other when applying different patterns. This will guarantee better fusion of the elements and will ensure the integration of the various components.
  •

  • Do not neglect the final smoothing of your piece. This function will ensure easy polishing and will maintain the integrity of the different applied forms. Don’t be afraid to fill these cavities so your customers can easily maintain the cleanliness of their prosthesis.
